SYNOPSIS
"TIK-TOK FANTASY" is the first chapter of my project TIK-TOK-dilemma. It was inspired by a masterpiece of the Czechoslovakia artist Jan Mlcoch, namely "20 Minutes." As the most crucial genre that tried to use art as an arm to push people to act against the dictator, Czechoslovakia's self-sacrifice performance always inspired me and encouraged me to go forward.
In this interactive performance, an exhausted Tik-Tok star collapsed on a "throne." On his chest was a small round window from which people could see themselves looking into the heart of the TikTok influencer. The scene is based on the computer vision optimization library OpenCV and the Unity game engine.
Through a very ambiguous language of art, this serious game scene integrated performance signifies a machine that auto-makes Internet celebrities. Indeed, It is a censorship machine that operates precisely according to a set of predefined rules under the supervision of computer vision.
